The airport cluster construction is well underway in the Greater Bay Area. According to Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), the airports in Guangzhou and Shenzhen recognized as international hubs are accelerating the renovation and expansion process. In terms of air traffic control, Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport is accelerating the air traffic control project in support of the airport renovation and expansion process. In terms of smart civil aviation development, the Chinese civil aviation smart regulatory service project is moving forward steadily, accelerating the Guangzhou Baiyun airport joint operations scenario demonstration project. Meanwhile, National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) and CAAC have published the Opinion on Promoting Orderly Development of General Airports. This encourages the private sector to invest in airport construction by providing interest subsidies. Thanks to the preferential policies and favorable macro-economic conditions, the airport cluster construction process in the Greater Bay Area has been accelerating along a fast track.
